A good pilot is always learning! 1st U.S. R/C Flight School is offering 4 levels of instruction for advancing flyers in 2006. |

1. Refresher: We'll work on specific fundamentals still requiring practice. But, in the interest of maximizing total learning, we will practice as much of the Sport Aerobatics Program as the person is able in order to, among other things, make basic Solo flying seem much easier when returned to. 2. Sport Aerobatics: Basic Looping and Rolling maneuvers will be first practiced individually, and then assembled into a continuous Aerobatic "Sequence" of one maneuver after another. 3. Intermediate Aerobatics: Additional precision is applied to all Sport Aerobatic maneuvers. New Looping and Rolling combinations are added, with proper use of Rudder to prevail over engine torque and Wind being the chore of the training. 4. Advanced Aerobatics: Maneuvers are flown inverted, more "vertical", "snappier" maneuvers are introduced, and expert techniques used to "disguise" deviations are practiced. Aerobatic lessons are taught using the same Das System format as experienced in the Primary Course: Each maneuver will be broken down into sequential steps and first practiced in its rudimentary form to facilitate ease, routine, and the sense of being "ahead" of the airplane. Once each maneuver has become routine, we'll have created "openings" for refinements and/or new maneuvers to be added! To progress and succeed in our Aerobatic programs, you need not have practiced extensively beyond Solo. The Aerobatics Courses are designed so that a person can be introduced at any point he or she is comfortable with and ready for. You'll find that doing the maneuvers is not hard, yet doing the maneuvers with greater degrees of precision is where more practice and/or quality instruction comes into play. Regardless of your skill level, the Flight School has at the ready several different "types" of aircraft to suit your every level of flying throughout the Course:
| Day 1: |
Classroom at the flying field: 4-day agenda discussions. Flight evaluations: Reinforcing good flying fundamentals (if necessary). "One-step-up" aircraft flight familiarization and control. Looping and Rolling maneuvers, and multiple maneuver combinations. |
Day 2: |
Assembling maneuvers into a continuous Aerobatic "Sequence". Introducing new maneuvers and adding variations to all maneuvers. Routine practice: Developing automatic inputs, timing, and confidence. |
| Day 3: |
Solo Aerobatics--less walking you through, and more coaching key points. Focusing on areas needing extra work, and adding applicable refinements. |
| Day 4: |
More Aerobatics practice, and experience flying a future model "type" so youll know what to expect in the future or when you return to the School. |
