Changes to make in the way this web is constructed

1. mail address should be readable in case browser does not support automatic "mail to"
2. remove - to this page - antimated graphics from magazine list because each browser shows it differently and because it makes url's hard to read
3. check computer generated HTML to find out why some browsers show type in italics, bullets in the wrong positions, and varying sizes of type - result: h2 and strong added to some headings
4. find out why some browsers will not follow links from from bottom to top of page and some retain # bookmarks where there aren't any shown in the HTML
5. insert line breaks in table for browsers (NCSA) which do not show the table but do show the list of items in the table
6. find out if it would be better to include the whole Front Page web or just the (htm, mid, images) essentials when putting it on the internet (FP97 costs more than I paid for OS/2 or Win95)
7. be sure that each page returns to some other page in case the page is accessed directly
8. make graphics optional on each page
9. find out why sketches have dot pattern on some browsers
10. learn if survey form will work correctly at Frontier Internet
11. decide not to show address, map, phone even if listed in phone book, newspaper, and business card
12. track down working url's for those that have moved or shut down "file not found on this server" or for whom "a connection to the server could not be established" - was it due to the time of day? - no list of these discarded url's
13. learn how to get page colors and backgrounds to show up with various browsers - OS/2 Web Browser, Cello, Air Mosaic, NCSA Mosaic, Microsoft, Netscape, etc (more than 40 installed)
14. can not change Front Page "center" command to make it work with older browsers - it already includes "allign"
15. find way to make frames the user's choice and have links start in a new window so the link can be bookmarked and the back button will work
16. create a new hi-tech page to expirament with (offline)
17. change index page to index2 and change ID at Frontiernet to make it easier to find the piano page
18. change images to all small letters to learn if capital letters cause images to be "not found" by frontiernet even though they work ok from the hard drive
19. change html to quit showing font size on every line
20. redo pages so font sizes are consistant and breaks follow other tags
21. ask why some browsers leave a space between some, but not all, items on this list
22. reorganize the way pages are arranged to make them more readable
23. investigate proper use of Netscape's nsbp tag
