These are some of my favorite resources and websites that have helped me to get my family day care started and continue to supply me plenty of ideas that make our day care days much more fun and educational.

• The Complete Resource Book ; an early childhood curriculum-This is the main curriculum I use with my day care kids. It's for ages 3 - 5, however I've found that some of the more mature 2 year olds do well with this too. I like to vary things and supplement when I feel there's a need for it. There are times the curriculum seems too advanced for the younger ones or just doesn't seem like enough that day so I use the following websites (along with books and many other sites) to get lots of ideas for those times.

• Everything Preschool - Early Childhood Education Made Easy- This website has excellent thematic ideas, lesson plans, printables, holiday and seasonal ideas, craft recipes, a message board and much more. This one will definitely give you enough ideas to help keep your preschoolers busy, busy, busy.

• Child's Play Family Daycare- Where play is the work of a child.~ Provider Information & Ideas, Preschool Themes, Crafts, Activities, Songs, Finger Plays, Games, Recipes and so much more for Parents & Child Care Providers.

• First-School- free fun preschool lesson plans, educational early childhood activities, printable crafts,  worksheets, calendar of events and other resources for children of preschool age. The preschool crafts, lesson plans and activities are appropriate and adaptable for toddlers, preschoolers and kindergarten level (ages 2 to 6).

• Calendar Keeper- From monthly expense charts and attendance and payment logs to a convenient mileage record and detailed income tax worksheets, this comprehensive calendar corresponds directly with IRS tax forms—making tax time a breeze. I use these every year to help me keep my records straight.

• Pamm's House- This is definitely one of my faves. It has so much to help providers start and run a day care that I can't even mention it all. A bonus is that Pamm is a Christian too and I LOVE her biblical approach to teaching little ones.
