YOU SHOULD WEAR COMFORTABLE CLOTHING.

The subject of dues will be coming up soon. The dues like
everything else in the world will go up to $60.00 per year for NRA members,
grandfathered non NRA members will pay $75.00 this is an increase of $10.00 per
year and our first cost increase in 7 years. Tony will start collecting in
December. The bar will increase it’s prices by 25˘ per beer starting this month.
This is due to 3 cost changes from our distributors.
We are still looking to have a pitch league starting on Monday
night. We would start it in January and run till April. Just 12 weeks. The cost
would be $5.00 per week per team member, 2 person teams. All cash will be given
out as prizes at the end.
We are still looking for a cook for club night suppers, Bill
has been doing a great job for us but it is keeping him from his business. If
you would like to do a supper please contact me. On the subject, please sign up
for supper, and show up! We had 20 no-shows last month and 12 walk-ins. Good
thing for the walk-ins but it is hard to plan. Please help in this matter.
I am going to try it again, I have a list of folks who wanted
shirts, polo @ $18.00 each and jackets @ $60.00 each. If you would like one let
me know ASAP. I will order them after the next club meeting on November 11.
Our club raffle contest was won by Bob Burka, For 2 years in a
row Bob has sold the most tickets. Again in second place was Bob Mulhall. Both
of them work to make our club a success and I do appreciate their efforts and
the efforts of everyone that sells the tickets for our only fund raiser. Jim
Hines came in third and I was forth. No prize for 4th L . We did have a few
members that reached 40 tickets and they will receive free dues.
Next Meetings 11/11, and 12/09, suppers 11/18 and 12/16.
