Hello All,
I have a few announcements, here they are: Tony Basile was
voted in as Life Member at the last meeting. Tony has logged countless
hours at
the club and has been a member for 20 years. The contributions he has
made for
our club are too many to name. Tony has been an important and trusted
member of
the board of directors for 8 years. I hope you all congratulate Tony
our newest
life member!
Our next
announcement is …We
have a new stair lift for our members to get to the inside range.
Thanks to
Harold, Rocky, Peter, and Nick.
They installed it
and it is
ready for use. Harold found it for us and was able to purchase it from
Dave
Ackerbauer’s estate. Harold we appreciate your efforts.
It is not permitted to shoot on the skeet range when skeet is
closed.
Do not bring your
own
equipment and shoot, this could result in charges brought up on you and
could
result in an expelled membership.
It is time to renew the club newsletter ads. Please contact me
if you would like to keep your ad. The price is still $20.00 for the
small size
and $40.00 for the large.
Our annual club raffle tickets are now out. This year they are
$20.00, (who says prices don’t go down!) We are doing it a little
different,
back to basics. On an odd number day the prize is $300.00 on an even
number day
you have a choice of $300.00 in cash, $350.00 gift certificate from
Lock, Stock
and Barrel, or one of the 4 firearms on the back of the ticket. Please

The newest members on the board of directors are Peter
Tautznik and Nick Valachovic.
Our annual Chili contest is January 25th. The 2 year defending
Champ is Al Unger. The contest starts @ 6:30PM. If you want to enter
bring a
pot of chili. If you wish to be a judge, the cost is $3.00, this
includes
Chili, bread, butter and crackers. The champ gets his or her name
posted on the
award at the club.
New at the meeting, Attend a meeting get your name in a
drawing for 2 free dinners @ club night supper. As always you get the
chance to
win the annual drawing in December.

February 8th
@ &7:00PM, Spaghetti Supper is February
15 @ 6:30PM.
Spaghetti Supper
is Pre-sale only and tickets are out now.
Dues should be
paid by the
end of January. Effective Feb. 1 there
is a late fee, and door cards of unpaid members will be disabled.
Remember this is our club. Be a part of it, attend a meeting,
we need your help. Let’s keep Pine Tree Rifle Club going strong!
