Please
send us your raw wool unwashed, just as it comes from the
shearing process. Raw wool is very greasy and we are able to
wash this wool properly for carding.
In the
washing and carding process of raw wool, you will lose about
1 lb. of wool for every 2 lbs. you send or bring in.
Your
raw wool will result in beautiful batts if you send us raw
wool that is free of burrs, straw and other dirt.
