Deacon's Mission Statement
The mission of the deacons of The Christian Reformed Church of Pease is to inspire faithful stewardship in the members of the congregation. The deacons will be
merciful and compassionate as they worship God with offerings of time, wealth and ability and minister to rich and poor alike, both within and outside the church. The work of the
deacons includes collection and distribution of offerings. They must weigh the needs of causes and use the church's resources discerningly.
We challenge, encourage and pray for each other as we reach out in Christ's love through the Spirit's power to the honor and glory of God.

Children's Worship Center
Children, ages three through seven, begin the worship service in the sanctuary with their parents. At some point during the order of worship, they are invited to come forward for a
children's message. At the conclusion, they are dismissed to the Worship Center.
Greeters and worship leaders meet the children in the narthex and they separate into two settings based on their age. Three and four year old children meet together in the Little Lambs
and ages five through seven meet in the Worship Center in another room. The Worship Centers provide an appropriate setting for children to praise and worship God through participation.
Just as in adult worship a liturgy is followed: We approach God (the greeting and songs of praise), We proclaim God's Word (telling the story with figures and manipulatives), respond to
God's Word, we give thanks (reading from the Bible and prayers of thanksgiving), and we go in God's name (closing song and benediction). The children are dismissed individually to their
parents at the end of the service. Contact Lorraine Veurink at 320-982-1509 with questions or to set up a time for orientation to the worship center if your children plan to attend
regularly.
