Dear Brother Knights and Sister Columbiettes, 

    I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of my Brother Knights who’ve supported me to become your next Grand Knight.  Over the summer months, I will be appointing members to the various committees that are necessary to the vitality of our council during the upcoming Columbian year.  During my term of office as Grand Knight, I would like to focus on Family and Council Activities.  For those of you who are familiar with the Columbian Award you will recognize that these are two of the qualifications that must be met to receive this award.  To support these goals, I would like to re-instate the Family of the Month recognition, which is something our council did a several years ago.  New activities I would like to implement include inviting a speaker to join us at our Communion Breakfasts, which would make this event more informative.  I would also like our council to hold a Mass on Memorial Day to remember the men and women who have served our country and have given the ultimate sacrifice, for our freedom.

 

I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate our brothers who have completed their journey into Knight Hood.  These men completed their 3rd degree on June 5th at the Beacon council.
