If you read the plaque in the next picture, you will see that this
F-100 was Thunderbird #6 for most of the sixties. During that time,
I was a little kid and my father was stationed at Dyess A.F.B. in Abilene
TX. I remember seeing the Thunderbirds there. So I thought
it was neat that I had, most likely, seen this very aircraft perform.
I just had to get my picture standing next to it. There is another
