Sacre Couer means Sacred Heart in French.  The beginning of this pilgrimage brought us to this glorious church that sits on a low mountain north of the city of Paris.   Not only is the church breathtaking, but the view of the city is spectacular. The Church of the Sacred Heart was built in remembrance of priests and martyrs who died during the French Revolution.
