Pipe Organ".The large wooden resonators, seen in accompanying photos, project the sound behind the pipe facade where the knee swell operates swell shades behind the pipe facade. The reed chest has been expanded. The set of reeds in the very back of the chest are of the extra large scale and require the extra width for their reed cells. The wooden resonators sit directly on top of the reed cell altering the sound that is produced. |
