Andrews Pipe Organ (1834)

Manufactured in Waterville, New York, this and one other organ are the only examples known to exist made by Andrews in his Waterville shop. A one manual instrument containing two ranks of pipes; an 8' Diapason and a 4' Principal. The original foot pumping mechanism is still intact.

Acquired at the auctioning of The Musical Museum of Deansboro, the organ made its 3rd move during its 164 year life, Originally delivered to the ELY family in 1834 where it remained for several generations. It came to the Musical Museum from the Ely homestead in 1946, and to Bainbridge, NY in 1998.
