Pastors Jim and Jeannine Cavalieri have been in ministry since 1989. After graduating
from Zion Bible Institute, Pastor Jim soon married Jeannine that same year. In that
year, Pastor Jim took his first ministry position in Rensselaer, N.Y. where he served
as an Assistant Pastor, Youth Pastor and Teacher in the ACE school located in the
church. He also performed many other tasks that were required of him. Pastor Jeannine
also worked in the school and helped her husband with the youth. When leaving Rensselaer
in 1992, they moved to Rochester, NY where Pastor Jim had grown-
Pastor Mary Louise Edlin of Faith Temple. Pastors Jim and Jeannine have 6 children and currently reside in Greece, NY a suburb of Rochester.
New Beginnings was started in the YMCA on Driving Park Ave. in the City of Rochester in 1992. From there they rented two storefronts and a church with about a total amount of 10 years of ministering in the city. During that time, they had started a food and clothing pantry. During those 10 years ministering in the city, many had come through the doors of New Beginnings. On a regular basis they evangelized, held VBS's, did park ministries and held special services to meet the needs of the people.
