View of the boat as we found her for sale at RCR Yachts in Buffalo, NY, in December 1997. In the background is the Skyway Bridge that goes over the harbor. The folks at RCR have probably the best selection of used sailboats anywhere and our broker John Kelley is a friend of my late father's and a great guy, and a real pleasure to do business with. The boat was a little run down and in need of a new interior, although if one wasn't too picky she could have been just used as is. The steel cradle was a major plus. We had her trucked out on a 18-wheeler by Lockview Marina and Transport and I can state from my experience that these people are high quality human beings.

Bow shot shows the boat on display in the for sale section of the boatyard. Many of the boats at the Skyway marina are stored with the rig on, but this is not my personal preference. Fortunately, the boat has only been stored this way a few seasons, as the original owners kept her at a club which does not store boats with the masts up.

Stern view shows original name and graphic, which was ingeniously made from adhesive vinyl sheet by the original owners of the boat. The name letters are adhesive vinyl and are of a font type which I have not been able to locate. If anyone knows where I can find them, drop me a line. The horseshoe preserver on the stern rail was promptly junked as it's cover and straps had severe UV damage. This is typical used boat stuff.
