Whether you already own a 28 foot Pearson sailboat, or are considering buying one, you should join the Pearson 28 Forum. The Forum is essentially a web-based boat owner's group, and is run using services provided by Yahoo!Groups (formerly eGroups and OneList.)

Our group is comprised of Pearson sailors from across the United States and Canada, and is possibly the best way to gain insight from and share experience with owners of boats just like yours. The e-mail distribution list and it's companion website at Yahoo!Groups are configured for access to and use by members only, so your correspondence and personal information are not open to the general public. Membership is free of charge. To join up, use the handy member information form located in the Navigation sidebar at the left of your screen, or just e-mail me at mpetrush@frontiernet.net (the form is best, it saves a step.) Once you have joined, it's easy to use the Forum. Simply mail a note to p28forum@yahoogroups.com and it will be distributed to all of the members of the group.

Also, when you join the Forum, a file folder is set up in your name in the Yahoo!Groups P28 Forum website file storage space. A photo of your boat or even your own self can be stored here, along with your boat's statistics and home port. This is a great way to get to know the other members of the forum, and with the limited membership, your information is viewable only by other Forum members.
