Duane "Killer"
Koshiol's hardworking goal late in the game gave gave the Bats a ray of hope,
as it brought the score to 4 to 3. Killer fought his way up the slot and extended
the ball into the net.
But the game ended without
further scoring giving the Ice Bats a 1-3 record for the season.

Brad Nielsen sniped in
a goal from center ice and Paul "Death-Grip" Wolfram had an easy
goal on breakaway which gave the Bats a 2 to 1 lead at the break.
Wolfram's breakaway panicked
the opposition goalie into kicking the net backward off its post. But Wolfram
chased down the floating goal and shot into an open net.
That score ended Wolfram's
three season plus scoring drought.

But Mayslack's turned up
the heat at the beginning of the second half and were able flood the Bat's
zone and make perfect shots.
Scoring three quick goals
to give them a 4 -3 victory.
