An inexperienced and
shorthanded team from Accenture gave the Ice Bats their first win in three
seasons.
Tom Quirk scored early
in the game and the Bats thought it was going to be a easy night. Controlling
play during most of the first half. But held only a one goal at half time.
But Accenture shocked
the Bats by forcing one in early at the start of the second half to tie up
the score.

The Bats went on a tear
with two strong goals by Brad Nielsen and diving tip in of a rebound by Steve
Loos to take a 4-1 lead.
Accenture cut the lead
to 4-2 and Chris Pahl scored to make it 5-2. Accenture scored the last goal
of the game leading to the 5-3 final score.
