- Nancy L - I'm looking for
Scottish relatives of my grandfather, Adam Liddle, who migrated with his

All were born in Scotland except Jesse. Come to think of it, I know
nothing of these men either, except James who was killed in a mill

My family came from Scotland, in and around the
West Lothian area.
We visited over there several years ago in the town of Bo'ness and it
seems there were many Liddle's, but we did not have time to stay and
check them out. In our family tree we have names like Lapsley, Bell, Deans.
I have also been looking for ship passenger information from Scotland to
Canada the year 1913. Any help is appreciated.

- Susan- I am researching my Scottish LIDDLE family (sometimes spelled Liddell). I started in Castle Douglas,
Kirkcudbrightshire, where my grandmother, Wilhelmina Cavet Liddle was born in 1870.. Her father, James
Liddle was a baker, born in the Gorbals, Glasgow in 1837. His father, also James was a boot closer, born in
Duns, Berwickshire in 1801. That is as far as I have got in the Liddle's and there has been no suggestion of
emigration to the new world but I havn't follwed up the brothers and sisters of the boot closer nor two of the
siblings of Wilhelmina so its a possibility. It would be thrilling if there were overseas relatives. Looking
forward to hearing from some of you researchers.
- Rita- I'm looking for a Alfred E. Liddle born about 1885 in Wyandotte Mich.

Clifford
Raymond Liddle. There mother remarried and changed the names to Perry.
George was born in 1910 and Clifford was born in 1911. We are not sure
on their
father William birth day or where he is buried. We think Alfred had a
brother Fred
also in Wyandotte Michigan. Thanks for any help anyone can give.

Ann& JaniceWe are trying to find out if any of our ancestors returned to England from
Canada in or around 1920. Joseph Liddle his wife Elizabeth A and family
emigrated to Canada in about 1910 leaving their son Thomas (and his new

in 1917 and we think that one of his brothers was our grandfather. Ergo one
of his brothers returned to England or remained behind and we are desperate
to find more information about our family.
