Jeff

Jeff retired in March 2003 from the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation. He worked out of the Albany office as a watershed forestry specialist his last three years. He has lived in Northville since 1969, having moved here as a newly graduated forester from Michigan State University.
•Born in Minneapolis, he lived in Minnesota, South Dakota (Crow Creek Indian Reservation, Stephan, S.D.), and Michigan (Mt. Clemens), before moving to New York.
•Hobbies are woodworking, stained glass, intarsia, cooking, boating (pontoon boat is his style!), hunting, golf and travelling (to name just the most important few). The summer following his retirement, he constructed a new 28' x 28' workshop with a wood shop, finishing room, stained glass studio, garden garage and upstairs storage area. He also enjoys doing consulting forestry when he can fit it into his busy schedule.

These are some of his favorite woodworking links.

Jeff has developed a new mix of art media he calls intarsia/glass. He believes that he is the first person to combine the two media in this manner. It is a combination of wood intarsia and stained glass. He hopes to develop a small retirement business around wood and stained glass. He sells many pieces and makes custom pieces on request. Drop him a line if you would like more information.

He has placed some of his work for sale at the Adirondack Country Store in Northville.
