This is a small wall-hanging we made on relatively short notice for a challenge sponsored by the Western Monroe Historical Society. We donated the final quilt to the society to be raffled off as part of a fund-raiser. The piecing was designed using EQ6 software on a Macintosh iBook computer. We modified a photograph of the Morgan-Manning House in Photoshop and printed it on fabric for the center of the star. Judy designed and pieced it and Ed quilted it using rulers and a freehand star meander. We called it "The Star of Western Monroe".
