Vineyards on Canandaigua This view of the vineyards (west side) and Bare Hill (east side) of Canandaigua is well known to those who travel Rt. 21 on the west side of the Lake. This work shows the view from the south, looking north toward the city of Canandaigua. The grape harvest was almost finished and the first frosts of September were bringing out the autumn color in the hillsides.
