How was it done?

Roman soldiers nailed Jesus Christ’s body to a wooden cross by hammering spikes through His hands and feet. After the soldiers raised the cross and set it into the ground, Jesus hung for hours in excruciating pain. The Son of God’s blood slowly drained from His body. This first blood donation in the history of humankind was neither safe nor painless.

It cost the Donor His life.
