"Bridging the world to God through the gospel of Jesus Christ"

Christianity: A Daily Walk with Jesus • 3

You need to find a place and time where you can get away every day to commune with God and tell Him your problems, needs, and desires. The best way to pray at such a time is on your knees to show the Lord that He is your Lord. It is also recommended that you pray with your eyes closed if things around you are distracting you. You must remember that you now have a powerful enemy, the Devil, who hates it when you pray. He will use every means at his disposal to distract you and make prayer uncomfortable. At such times the Bible tells us to “Resist the devil, and he will flee from you” (James 4:7).
