6. The condition of repentance (turning away from sin)
For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented
of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death (2 Corinthians 7:10).
Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted
out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the
Lord (Acts 3:19).
Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal,
The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the
name of Christ depart from iniquity (2 Timothy 2:19).
7. Ask God to save you based on Jesus atoning death on the cross
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt
believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt
be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with
the mouth confession is made unto salvation (Romans 10:910).
For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved
(Romans 10:13).
All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh
to me I will in no wise cast out (John 6:37).
Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice,
and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he
with me (Revelation 3:20).
