Dalton Ag Products
Dalton Ag is a manufacturing and fabrication plant that specializes in fertilizer application equipment. They opened their doors in August 1996, and today, employ 30 employees. Products are shipped throughout the United States, Canada and some European countries.
Precision Pulley & Idler opened their steel fabrication plant in October 1988, employing fifteen. They fabricate idlers which support conveyor belts, and take-up-frames which create tension on the conveyor belt. The Lenox facility was the start of the idler production line for PPI. Today they employee 92.
Michael Foods, Inc. is a diversified food processor and distributor with businesses in egg products, refrigerated grocery products and refrigerated potato products. Our strategic thrust is to transition Michael Foods into a value-added food products company by being a leader in the food industry in introducing food technology and customer solutions. The key to this strategy is "value added", whether that is in the product, the distribution channel or in the service provided to food service, food ingredients and retail grocery customers.
Michael Foods Lenox Operation is a state of the art facility that produces liquid, frozen and cooked egg products. As Taylor County's largest employer, Michael Foods employs over 275 employees across three shifts. Michael Foods offers employment opportunities in production, maintenance, finance and accounting, human resources and laboratory testing, to name a few.
Bowman Machine, Inc.
Bowman Machine, Inc. was started in a basement in 1977 and today employees ten people. Bowman's provides service to companies that use foundry industrial castings as part of the products they produce. Typical machine parts are prototypes' valves, housings, shafts, spindles, valve blocks, clamps and pulleys. They also manufacture machine made parts using bar stock of stainless steel, aluminum and plastic. Countries serviced are the United States and Canada.
