Our oldest Son, Chris, got married in June 2009 to Jolene Hanchar.  They now live in Hammond, Indiana. with their 2 dogs and cat.

  Chris is an Artist and lived in Chicago, Illinois, before he got married. He moved to Chicago from Knoxville, Tennessee, where he had worked for the MetroPulse as a production designer and also had done freelance work. He graduated from UT in 1996 with a degree in Graphics Design and a second major in Painting.

  When he first went to Chicago he worked as the Art Director for the University Reporter Chicago. He then took a job with Fluxgroup, a graphic design company. While working for them he did design work for National Geographic, Brian Wilson (formerly of the Beach Boys), and others. Chris did the CD cover for Brian Wilson's "Brian Wilson Presents Pet Sounds Live".  He taught graphic design at two of the local colleges in Chicago.  He also went back to college for his Masters degree. He continues to do some freelance work for customers in Chicago.

  Chris now works for the University of Chicago as the Director of Graphic Arts.  He also continues to teach some courses at Loyola University. You can contact him at: leather@slabmag.com

  Chris also was the drummer of the band State Champs before they broke up in 1997. Chris and one of the members of the State Champs, Seth, had also started a band called "Because We Are Fearless Men", which his brother Jason also was a member of. He was later in a new band called "Illinois Driver".  He has since started a new band with his friend Mike, called Hölas.  They have played in Brooklyn, New York and in the Indiana.

 Our Son Jason is a musician and plays bass along with several other instruments.  He has been the bass player for the band called the Walking Bicycles . They released a CD in April 2006 and another one in 2008. The band toured the West coast in 2007.  He also formed his own one man band called The Riddled Liver Band.

 Before he moved to Chicago he had played the bass for the band INNERDAM The band had played throughout Orange County and even played in Schenectady, New York before they decided to breakup. There had been several shows at the Chance in Poughkeepsie, New York. They had released a CD before their breakup that did well in Europe.

 Jason decided to join his brother Chris out in Chicago. When he went out there he was in two bands. The one band was called "Joe Rougham" and the other was "Because We Are Fearless Men". Jason has also worked on a solo CD of his own work.

 Jason decided to go back to college in 2009 and is now attending UIC ,majoring in music.

Jonathan is our youngest Son and graduated from St. John's University in Queens, New York in May 2004.

He majored in graphic design and photography. He is working in NYC for a publisher of several art magazines. He also continues to do freelance work for the New York Press. He lives in Brooklyn where he holds charity events at 2 of the venues in Brooklyn(The Bell House and Union Hall). You should check out Jonny’s web site .
