• Brenda Peterson was the Vernon County Dairy Queen, Vernon County Fairest of the Fair, and Wisconsin State Jersey Princess; Karla Peterson was the Wisconsin State Jersey Princess.
• 1993 Wisconsin State Fair – Brenda Peterson won Senior Jersey Showmanship
• Dean and Karla Peterson have both earned their Wisconsin State Farmer Degrees, active in FFA 4-H and WI Jr. Dairyman's Association
• Albin Peterson, Jr. started Peterson Jerseys with his first registered Jersey in 1944; he was the first person from Viroqua to receive the FFA National Farmers Degree.
