Banana Nut Bread

This recipe is from 'Great Country Inns,' off 'The Learning Channel,' mailed to me from 'Finchguy.'

• 2 bananas (very ripe)
• 1 egg
• 2 cups flour
• 1½ cups sugar
• 1 cup walnuts
• ½ cup cooking oil
• ¼ buttermilk
• ½ tsp baking soda
• 1 tsp vanilla

    Mash bananas first, then add egg and beat together by hand.   Add other ingredients next.  Beat all ingredients by hand.  Pour into a loaf pan sprayed with PAM or oiled and floured.

Bake at 325°F for 1hr 15min.
