I was introduced to a neat new way to share books. The basic idea is that you register your book to get a unique tracking number then set it free. When someone finds your book, they can provide a journal entry to let you know they found it. You can also search for books that have been released in your area and may find a book you can enjoy. Our first project in the house was the building of the fireplace surround and mantel. My Dad and I built this over two weekends and learned the ins and outs of cutting compound miters on crown molding. Looks like we're close to moving in. The interior is in it's final stages and carpet is scheduled to be installed early next week. The brick work continues to be interesting to watch. This past week, the first of the keystones appeared on the house. Also, interior work has commenced again as the drywall patching is being completed. We topped of the holiday festivities, last night, by going to a baseball game. We traveled to Cincinnati to watch the Reds take on the Giants. I got to eat hot dogs, pizza and cotton candy and Sarah got to see Barry Bonds.
