The house has grown, as all seven pieces have now been set. Final exterior framing, will take place next week. Some pics of yesterday's progress can be found here.

The first two pieces of the house were set today. We've posted some pics of the process and will take some more tomorrow.

It's the eve of the house being set and I snapped a few pics. Parts of the house are in waiting and the tree has been removed to allow for the crane. Tomorrow is the big day and I'll be posting some pics of the event. More pictures of the land and house pieces can be found here.

Yet another surprise awaited me as I drove by the house site today. We now have beams! Pictures are here.

Today's visit to the house site was another treat. The blocks to bring the brick ledge up to the anticipated grade were all laid. Bring on the house and brick!

The piers for the support beams where installed today. Yet another step closer to the arrival of the house. Pictures of the piers can be found here.

We topped of the holiday festivities, last night, by going to a baseball game. We traveled to Cincinnati to watch the Reds take on the Giants. I got to eat hot dogs, pizza and cotton candy and Sarah got to see Barry Bonds. So, we both had a good time!

Despite the rain, we were able to catch some fireworks last night. Happy Independence Day!!!

We got some great news yesterday. Our house will be arriving and will be set on the 23rd. We can hardly believe it's coming so soon. I plan on taking the day off and will post some pictures of the house being set.
