On the marriage registration it says Daniel Stover was a barber, a bachelor aged 46.
He lived at 762 Richard Street (down town Vancouver). He said he was born in Stouffville, Ont. to Henry Stover who was born in Pennsylvania and Mary Shook who was born in Germany. Daniel and Bertha Angeline Roscoe(nee Johnson) were married 1 May 1923 at Eburne,B.C.
Eburne was located on Sea island, now the home of Vancouver International Airport. The ceremony took place in the home one of Bertha's sister, Florence McGuinness.

Bertha Angeline was a widow whose husband had died of tuberculosis just a few months after he returned from service abroad during WWI . His name was Davis Leslie Roscoe. Berth's death registration was given by a friend Mrs Louisa Savage who said she was in Prince Rupert, B.C. for 3 months when she died Aug 8 1928. She died from Bright's Disease.

On Daniel's death registration-22 June 1936, his occupation a barber. He died of a coronary, apparently on a street corner. The informant was Nellie Stover of 15 W. 18th Ave., Vancouver.

Bertha's death registration information was given by a friend, Mrs Louise Savage who said she was in Prince Rupert, B.C., for 3 months when she died 8 Aug 1928. She died of Bright's disease.
