Funeral service for the late Mrs. Phyllis Jean Brown, 32, of 2301 First avenue west, formerly Phyllis Barenscott, of Canwood, who died suddenly on Feb. 17, was held from Calvary United Church on Feb. 20, with Rev. R. J. McLellan officiating. Born on July 15, 1931, the late Mrs. Brown as a school teacher. Besides her husband, William, she leaves a son, Donald Clayton; four daughters, Sandra Lee, Gale Dianne and Jean Anne, all at home and her mother, Mrs. Mary Carr, of Saskatoon. Interment took place at the Perpetual Care section of South Hill cemetery with the MacKenzie Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Phyllis married William Clayton Brown, son of Lawrence Otto Brown and Signe Linnea Kristina Anderson.
