The Skier

      A skier of mass m goes down a hill of height h at an angle q. The coefficient of friction between the skis and the snow is µ. Upon reaching the bottom of the hill the skier then slides horizontally for a distance s with the same coefficient of friction µ.

     Derive an expression in terms of h, q, and µ for the distance s the skier will travel along the horizontal surface.
