US74 is easily located off of I85
Directions to New Prospect Baptist Church from Keeter Ford on US74 Bypass in Shelby.
1. Turn off US74 bypass beside Keeter Ford onto hwy 180 - heading west on 74 you will be turning to your right, heading east on 74 you will be turning left.
2. Stay stright and you will pass under four (4) stop lights and then under a caution light. The next intersection will be New Prospect Church Road [1908]. -- Take a right!
3. The Church will be a mile or so down the road. You will cross a bridge over Buffalo Creek and the Church is sets on the hill to the right - you cannot miss it!

If you are coming south down hwy 18 from Falston: 1. Traveling south on hwy 18 towards Shelby (this is on the north side of Shelby) look for Pleasant Grove Baptist Church on the Left. Past this church you will take a left onto Costner Rd.
2. Follow Costner Rd. [1906] to the end and turn right onto New Prospect Church Rd.
3. Travel until you see the Church on the left.

If you come through Shelby on hwy 18 traveling north: 1. Turn off of hwy 18 onto hwy 180 at the light. 2. At the intersection of 180 and New Prospect Church Rd. take a left.

If you are traveling from Cherryville:
1. Stay on hwy 150 through Waco until you come to the intersection of hwy 150 and hwy 180.
2. Take a right onto hwy 180, go under the caution light, and take a right onto New Prospect Church Rd.

P.S. There is a new Holiday Inn Express beside the Cleveland Mall on hwy74 in Shelby. There are a number of others in the area as well, seeing how Shelby is growing so fast!
