APPROVAL
OF MINUTES AND FINANCE REPORT
The minutes of the previous meeting were posted on the bulletin boards in the Main Foyer and in Central Control. John Stewart made a motion to accept the minutes; seconded by Ken Robson. The motion passed.
Ken Robson read the Treasurer’s Report to the membership. Mike Roseberry made a motion to accept the Treasurer’s report as submitted. John Stewart seconded the motion. Motion passed.
COMMITTEE
REPORTS
Ken Robson gave a report from The Public Relations Committee.
John Stewart made a motion to donate $700 to “Keep It Straight and Sober” (KISS). Chad Musulin seconded the motion. Motion passed unanimously.
John Royce made a motion to donate $500 to Coats for Kids. Katrina Trash seconded the motion. Motion passed unanimously.
The Legal Defense Committee met and reviewed three cases. One case concerning overtime pay for being redirected out of a scheduled shift swap was sent forward to arbitration. All parties connected with these cases have been notified of the committee’s decision.
OLD
BUSINESS
The medical, mail boat, code response, bad faith bargaining and IST grievances are going to arbitration. The R&R grievance is still ongoing. CCPOA headquarters staff indicates we have lots of pending arbitrations and the State is moving very slowly on picking arbitrators.
Additional grievances being processed include OT hiring practice/supervisors in dual appointments, redirection from approved shift swaps, and conditional/continuous bid posting with a new statement.
The grievance for Off Post Training was partially granted.
The Stand-by Vacation grievance was granted and stand-by vacations are now available.
On Friday, October 21st, Chuck Helton, CDC Rank and File Vice President from CCPOA, participated with Don in a grievance conference with the warden for several grievances.

The Academy graduation list does not show any new officers scheduled to come to CCC in December. There appears to be fifteen officers scheduled for arrival in February 2006.
