Homer/Juno/Brule 1978

While we were all experienced campers, in 1978 we were still relatively new to wilderness camping. I think one of the things we learned in the early years was how important the chemistry of the group is to having a quality BWCA experience. Something about the challenge of this type of camping strengthens your friendship. On this trip it was overcast most of the time--somewhat cool weather. I don' think we went swimming at all.
