I’ll Jolly Well Live Until I Die

Why is it Raining?

Verse 1

I'll jolly well live until I die,

Find me a hoe and dig a hole,

And in the hole my cares I'll throw,

And jolly well live until I die.

Why is it raining?

God is crying.

Why is He crying?

To water the trees.

Raining... Pouring.

The old man is snoring.

Verse 2

A tender lass I was you see

When first I met my soon to be.

He filled my life with harmony,

But he died and now there's only me.

Interlude – no lyrics.

Verse 3

So I'll jolly well live until I die,

No way to know when I might go,

And if my cares should overflow,

I'll jolly well dig another hole.

It’s raining, it’s pouring, the old man is snoring.

Bumped his head on the foot of the bed

And he couldn’t get up in the morning.

Repeat verses 1-3

It’s raining, it’s pouring.

Why is it raining?

I’ll jolly well dig another hole

And jolly well live until I die!
