Farm Refvem, located in Madla parish, Rogaland county, Norway. Nicolai Bevensen settled here in 1854 and owned farms 21 and 25...smaller parts of the greater farm Refvem. Here he built a home and his children were born. Today this name is spelled Revheim, and the area is part of the city of Stavanger [1]

David Torresen (1889-1982) and his wife Ellen Elise Olsen (1891-1927) on their wedding day, 8 April, 1911. David was a son of Johanna (Bevensen) and David Tørresen, and came to the USA in 1907 with his sister Josephine and her husband Leonard Hansen [6]
