I'm going to add some snow flakes falling ( it's kind of required ) for the snow storm in a snow globe effect.

The animation is a mixture of animated gifs that were processed and additional animation was added with Java, including the multiple depth planes.

A simple animation, with a little Java 2d image processing.

Updates :

• 12/11/98   Added snow falling as a separate applet as a test prior to adding it to the applet itself.
• 12/21/98   Faster & friendlier loading : parallel file fetch requests with "no waiting" (non-blocking); increased the number of animatied characters to four.
• 12/24/98   Added Lens Applet.

I'd like to add a few other effects, adding a magnifing glass that the user an interactively move around on the screen.
