IBS Awards

Any student from an IBS member institution is eligible to enter the awards competition.  Awards will be presented to radio station, not individual members; therefore students must enter the competition through their college, university or high school to be eligible.

General Rules

á       Each entry should be submitted on a separate MD or Audio CD and be clearly labeled.  Only one entry per tape, MD or Audio CD.

á       New for 2011!!  Entries may also be submitted on a flash drive as mp3 files.  All entries may be put on one flash drive as long as they are clearly labeled and named.

á       Entries must have aired on the IBS member station between January 1, 2011 and December 14, 2011.  Programs aired after December 14, 2011 will be eligible for the next yearÕs competition.

á       Entries cannot be returned.

á       By entering this contest, you give IBS permission to air your entry on the IBS Student Radio Network or on IBSradio.org.

á       You retain the full rights to your entries.

á       Programs may be entered in multiple categories (if applicable), but each entry must include its MD or CD (or another mp3 file on the flash drive) and a separate entry form and entry fee (if applicable).

á       At the discretion of the judges, awards in all categories may not be given out due to either lack of number in entries or lack of quality entries.

á       Judges will score each entry and up to the top five entries in each category will be recognized at the annual IBS Conference in New York City.  The winning entry will be revealed during the awards ceremony at the conference.

á       Any violation of these rules will result in the disqualification of the entry.
