Theater of the Mind:
This workshop will run from 9:30 AM-12:30 PM and will include producing a one-act radio play
that we will burn on CD to take home with you!
Everyone will learn voice acting, producing, writing, sound effects and final production values for generating great radio theater.
Instructor: Marssie Mencotti, Columbia College Chicago Radio Professor and award-winning actress,
voice over artist, and member of the Board of Directors of the National Audio Theater Festivals (NATF).
Columbia College Chicago Student Producers will also help lead this workshop. (Workshop Limit: 6 students)

Integrating Live Play by Play Sports for College Radio:
WCRX-FM, Columbia College Chicagošs award-winning radio station has a collaborative sports program
with the University of Illinois at Chicago.
Students in both programs learn how to format and produce live play by play and
color commentary for UIC basketball games.
Learn how to format and program live sports coverage for your radio station.
