In the 1830 census for Utica, NY Reed is between the age of 30 and 40. There is a woman between the age of 30 and 40 living with him. There is also a woman between the age of 40 and 50 living with him. There is also a girl bewteen the age of 20 and 30 living with him. He has one boy under 5, 2 boys between the ages of 5 and 10 and two boys between the ages of 10 and 15 living with him.
In the 1840 Census from Westmoreland, NY Reed is living with a woman between the age of 70 and 80. I am assuming this is his mother since his father, Francis, died in 1839.
