Marriage Notes for Robert Mundy White and Judith Marie Heck-10
Kathi Jean Beachner was a flower girl.
Notes from Kathi Beachner McDonnell:
Kathi remembers "Aunt June's" house on Hillendale St, Rochester, NY as having a landing in the middle of a staircase (this is typical of most city houses in Rochester). She remember's Aunt June and Uncle Eddie living there. She assumes they must have lived there first after they were married. She also remembers watching the Ed Sullivan show at the house on Roxborough when the Beatles made their first television appearance.

It is sad to know that Wesley was probably one of many who suffered from abuse in institutions like this.
According to Mom, Judith White, Catherine left her first husband Wesley Beachner when her daughter June was 12 (abt 1928) years old. June came home from school one day to find Catherine packing to leave Wesley. Kathi (Beachner) McDonnell remembers being told that Catherine did this when Wesley was away looking for work. Kathi's mom Marion told Kathi that Catherine didn't even leave any toilet paper for Wesley. Those times were tough and the family doesn't really know what happened between Catherine and Wesley. My mom remembers June, her Mom while in her 60's, telling her that Catherine would go out at night and that was June's way of telling my Mom that Catherine was probably cheating on Wesley.
Kathi McDonnell says that Nan was Catherine's preferred name as she became older. Catherine did not want to be called Grandma because it made her feel old.
I remember Nana always having M&M's at the nursing home when I would go and visit her with my Mother, Judith White.
Nana died of Cardio ? Arrest. Complications due to chronic ? ? lung ?.1900 Fed census: resides at 113 Scrantom St. with father August and step-mother Rose, listed at school, born - Kentucky.

Jacob moved to New York from Ohio probably between 1875 and 1880.
1880 US Census: Listed as a worker - farm laborer with the Wm Brower family in Irondequoit, NY. What looks to be his nephew John Beachner, son of half-brother George - age 18, is also working the same farm. It looks as if the farm was near Swaines Corners (Culver and Ridge Road). Other people on the same census page include Hahn the Blacksmith, and Benjamin Bidlock the Carriage Maker, Shaw, and Hobbie. Most of surrounding people can be found on the 1872 and 1887 maps of Irondequoit. Also, John L. Koehler, father of wife Jennie B. (Koehler) Beachner is shown on these maps.
