The blue
Dodge Dart was purchased brand new in 1967. The car came with the
Hi-Performance 273 c.i.d. V8, four-speed
transmission, and 3.91 sure-grip rear end. Since
then, it has gone through many changes and can be easily restored to original
factory specifications. I used for transportation to-and-from work until the
middle 70's.
The red Dodge Dart originally came from Kansas. The car had a
slant-six engine, automatic transmission and was in factory stock
condition. I had been waiting several years to find a car that was
cosmetically and physically in good shape. During the summer of 2001, I put a
440 c.i.d. Magnum engine in it and had to do considerable
amount modifications to the car in order to match the of drive-train
components to the 440 Magnum engine. In the last few years, the cr has gone through several refinements in order to make
it look like an original later model Chrysler factory 440 Magnum Dart.
