The birth date of Rebecca Carlton is calculated from the information on her grave marker. The marker states that she died 26 Oct 1859 and lived 83 years, 3 months and 17 days. Doing the calculation, accounting for the 11 days that were skipped September 3, 1772 when the current U.S. calendar was adopted, gives me the "calculated" birth date.
