A complete set of 5 Antique Medical or Doctor
Sundry Jars. The kind of jars found in a doctor's exam room.
These jars are unique in that they have glass tops instead of
the usual tin tops found with most jars. Instead of the
painted labels, these jars are Labeled Under Glass (LUG) just
as most apothecary jars were labeled. The labels read -->
Applicators, Bandages, Cotton, Gauze, and Tongue Depressors.
The labels also include the name Glasco. The jars and tops are
in good condition with no chips or cracks. As for the labels,
there are just a few issues. There is a crack in the
Applicators label, and the Gauze label has changed in
appearance. The set displays wonderfully and would make a good
addition to any medical collection. $550.00 or BEST
offer. Please contact Jim Bartholomew at
585.705-8106 or email: barthology@frontiernet.net
for more information and/or
pictures. 10/24/09
