Creating a Vision:
Stephen and Esperanza Lantro are parents of three home-educated children, Ashontae - 13, Joshua - 11 and Noah - 9 years of age. Presently, they await the arrival of their fourth child. Esperanza worked over 10 years in social services with diverse populations prior to having children and then became a childbirth instructor and La League leader and consultant. Her path of self-realization and parenthood led her to study Waldorf education and apply many of its principles in teaching children. Stephen, artisan and woodcrafter worked in machining and the aerospace industry for many years before working from home and teaching as well. Through continued intensive self-education and teacher training courses both have gone on to form homeschooling cooperative groups, develop and coordinate educational programs, summer camps, and family/community enrichment activities and festivals in IL, LA and Mt. Shasta, CA. Combined, they have taught children ranging from K-Gr. 7 and are expanding to "teens".
Esperanza provides curriculum consultation and educational workshops she continues to develop under the name, Paths to Enriched Living. Stephen continues to create magical ~ Toys for the Soul ~ and artistic crafting imbued with beauty for homes. They both work together to develop educational programs, SolSeeds, to enrich children and families' lives. Stephen and Esperanza continue to invest their love and devotion to their family, cultivate and create a Vision that preserves the path of nurturing individuals through "the family". Together the Lantro family holds the Spirit of Great Spirit Works and is dedicated to inspiring imagination, reveling in wonder and expressing the essence of Love though all their creations - committed to the Service of Light, Life and Love and Sharing it with You!
