OS_Testers List for individual or small group authored Operating Systems

This page is dedicated to those who individually or those in a small group, are creating an Operating System for
an Intel x86 compatible box. This list doesn't discriminate against the progress or advancement of the OS in
question.

This list is used for those who have an OS that they would like tested on multiple machines, with
decent feedback, and are willing to test others' OS's on their own test machine(s).

To add your OS and test machine(s) to this list, please send information to fys [at] frontiernet [dot] net.
Please include where/how to get an image of your OS, instructions on how to boot/install it, and a detailed
list of your test machines that you are willing to use for feedback on other OS's. Please be as detailed
as possible on each piece of hardware within each machine. Please also include contact information so
that others who test your OS may contact you with feedback. If you would like your contact address "mangled"
for anti spam-bot purposes, please let me know. However, you must give applicable instructions on how to
unmangle it.

Please remember, that this list is mainly used for those who are learning to create an OS and may
not have a very advanced OS yet. With this in mind, the more feedback you can give to the author, the
better. However, you may also include your OS here even if it is well advanced beyond the hobby stage.

When I say feedback, I mean feedback on what worked or didn't work on your particular machine. I don't mean
feedback on the quality of or the lack of quality of the OS in question.

Please note: It may be easier for the tester as well as the testee to simply write a DOS app that
tests a particular bit of code for a specific peice of hardware and simply run it in True DOS instead of
having to boot from a floppy or something. Please keep this in mind.

***** Please note that if you plan to test others' OS's, be warned that you are placing your test machines
hardware and software at risk. Please use caution when testing...
