I've covered the last three (2004, 2006 and 2008) Photokina Photography Shows in Cologne, Germany for the SAP Media Worldwide Show Daily newspapers.

I write for SAP Media Worldwide's SHOW DAILY newspapers relating to photography and have also written a monthly column on digital photography for their ASIAN PHOTOGRAPHY magazine published in India.
I have also written for the PHOTO DISTRICT NEWS and THE FUTURE IMAGE REPORT.
 

There are now thousands of books available talking about digital imaging, but there are two in particular I'd like to recommend to you:

Digital Imaging Procesing: Principles and Applications by Gregory A. Baxes and Shooting Digital: Pro Tips for Taking Great Pictures with Your Digital Camera by Mikkel Aaland. Both are available on amazon.com.

I made a digital imaging presentation at Light Source IV sponsored by the Professional Photographers Association of Singapore (PPAS) and held 30 June - 3 July 1995 in the Singapore International Convention and Exhibition Centre.
