*The Second District Chapter
of Credit Unions, of which Frontier Community
Credit Union and Postal Employees Credit
Union are members, awards two $500 scholarships each year. Winners are determined on the results of a
test on credit unions. Study material from “A
Guide to Money,” and “There’s Nothing Like
a Credit Union”. The entrant,
parent, guardian or grandparent must be a member of a credit union belonging to
the Second District Chapter of Credit Unions to be eligible for these
scholarships. Study booklets are
available at the Credit Union Center, 13 South 3rd St, Fort Dodge.

Board, a
committee of the Iowa Credit Union League offers two different scholarship
programs. The first scholarship is for
high school students planning to enter college.
In this category, the FIB will award a first place prize of $1500;
second place, $1000; third place, $750.00, $500 to students in the state of
Iowa. The second scholarship program sponsored by the FIB is for
nontraditional-aged and continuing education students. The non-traditional scholarship category will
award two $1,000 scholarships.
Entrants
are required to write a 500 word essay. Entrants
must have an account established in their own name and be a “member in good
standing” at Frontier or another credit Union that is a member of the Iowa
Credit Union League to be eligible for these scholarships. For more detailed information: www.iowacreditunions.org.
*Frontier Community Credit
Union offers
a scholarship of $500. Available to a graduating high school senior. Must be a member of
Frontier Community Credit Union. Information is available at the credit

Union
