We believe in the Bible
as the only verbally and plenarily inspired Word of God, infallible and
authoritative; in one God as eternally existent in the persons of Father,
Son, and Holy Spirit; in the deity of Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His
sinless life, His miracles, His vicarious and atoning death through His
shed blood, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of
the Father, His pretribulational rapture of the church, and His personal
return in power and glory; in the Fall of man and his need of regeneration
by the Holy Spirit by grace alone; in believer's baptism by immersion;
in the Holy Spirit's enablement of believers to live godly lives, separated
from the world, and witnessing of Christ's saving grace; in the resurrection
of both the saved and the lost: the saved unto life and the lost unto damnation;
in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ; and in God's
ordination of the local church for the perpetuation of His truth and work
in this world.
Though we do not intend to be
unkind, we feel that at the outset of our relationship we should say that
those who are part of the charismatic movement may not fit in as students
here. Thus, we encourage members of the tongues movement to consider seeking
their education elsewhere.
The King James Version of the
Bible is the English translation used exclusively in the pulpit and in
the classroom. Because we believe the Textus Receptus to be the preserved text, we teach our Greek courses using this text exclusively. |

As a Bible school rather
than a liberal arts college, Freedom Farm Bible School and Seminary exists
for the training of godly pastors, Christian teachers, and other Christian
ministry workers who are committed to being conformed to the purposes and
character of the Lord Jesus Christ. We extend a special welcome to those
who seek greater understanding of Accelerated Christian Education
(A.C.E.) curriculum. |

Since God's standards
are higher than any that men have set, we believe that to seek state accreditation, registration, or approval
would be a fruitless exercise. Our great desire being to please God Himself
in every facet of our work, we seek no state involvement in any
of our ministries.
Although Freedom Farm Bible School and Seminary operates under the laws
of the state of Michigan, we are not endorsed by the state of Michigan, neither do we accept any state funds. |

The philosophy which
guides all decisions at Freedom Farm Bible School and Seminary is summed
up in the following Scriptures: "And He is before all things and by Him
all things consist" (Colossians 1:17); "Whether therefore ye eat or drink,
or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God" (1 Corinthians 10:31);
"...In Whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge" (Colossians
2:3). Since God is Who He says He is, He belongs at the center of all existence
so that every aspect of life revolves around Him. Thus, we seek to glorify
God in building dedicated Christian young people whose affections are set
"on things above" (Col. 3:2), and whose lives of dependence on Him declare
that it is Jesus Christ "Whom (God) hath appointed heir of all things,"
and Who upholds "all things by the word of His power" (He. 1:1b, 2c).
Because the beginning of wisdom
and knowledge is the fear of the Lord (Proverbs 9:10), we attempt to root
all aspects of teaching and learning in Scriptural principles. We believe
that the teacher's life is the life of his teaching (Lk. 6:40). We also
believe that students learn best when they take the responsibility God
gives them for their own learning (Rom. 14:12). We therefore encourage
our students to build their own working libraries and to learn the skills
needed for a lifetime of independent research and Bible study. |

The philosophy of Freedom
Farm Bible School and Seminary leads us to admonish our students to: (1)
develop a hearty relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ, a conformity
to His likeness in thought, attitude and action, and a love for God that
permeates heart, soul, and mind; (2) establish regular daily devotions,
prayer and Scripture memory times; (3) demonstrate mastery of God's Word,
seek to apply it and walk in the Spirit; (4) convey the love of Christ
by ministering to His church and sharing the plan of salvation with the
lost; (5) cultivate a faith in God steadfast enough to carry him through
the trials that come to those who serve Christ.
We offer four-year and six-year programs of study
in Pastoral Ministries and Biblical Studies, and two-year and four-year programs for
Christian Education. The specific objectives for each
area of study are as follows: (1) each graduate in Pastoral Ministries
will understand the Scriptural principles and practices of pastoral life
and demonstrate the ability to accurately and effectively proclaim sound
doctrine together with its application to life; (2) each graduate in Christian
Education will understand the Scriptural principles and practices unique
to Christian education, demonstrate a mastery of the A.C.E. curriculum
and/or other individualized curricula, and effectively communicate in the
context of both group and individualized instruction; (3) each graduate
in Biblical Studies will comprehend the deeper and more complex issues
described in the sacred text, be able to effectively communicate them,
and practically integrate the Scriptural truth with everyday living. |

In 1981 the Lord Jesus
Christ led some of His servants to found Freedom Farm Bible College as
an extension of the ministry of Freedom Farm Bible Church. Classes first
met at night in the church's Christian day school building. The pioneering
students saw the addition of afternoon classes in 1983 while they waited
patiently for the completion of the pleasant ranch-style building. God
rewarded them with the dedication of that building in October of 1986.
In the summer of 2007, the state of Michigan required Freedom Farm Bible
College to be renamed, and the present name of Freedom Farm Bible School
and Seminary was adopted. |
